Stump Grinding in Macon

Stump grinding is the fastest, cheapest way to make a stump disappear. We grind the stump down 6–12 inches below grade, rake out the chips (or leave them, your call), and you can plant grass, lay sod, or install a bed right over the spot.

How we approach a grinding job

• Locate utilities — we call 811 before grinding anything.
• Set up tarps and ground protection around the stump to contain chips and protect lawn.
• Grind to a depth that supports your next use of the spot — deeper for replanting, shallower for grass.
• Rake, blow, and (optionally) backfill with topsoil so the area is ready to seed.
